MJ The Musical recounts the story of important moments in Michael Jackson's career and life that inevitably led to him being labeled the "King of Pop" and becoming one of the acts with the largest record sales and the highest level of esteem throughout the history of entertainment. It focuses on Michael Jackson's highs and lows, both of which have a long and illustrious heritage. The narrative of the musical is set in 1992, when Michael Jackson is getting prepared for his Dangerous World Tour and a journalist manages to get Jackson to grant the reporter an interview.
